We are looking for a facilities maintenance engineer to work on a number of commercial properties across North and East Yorkshire.
The role:
- The FM technician will carry out planned and reactive maintenance to all building systems in approximately 10-15 locations across the area.
- These systems can include HVAC (heating, ventilation and air handling units), lighting, and power systems as well as general plumbing and some mechanical systems
- Working days, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
- Company van provided and business mileage costs covered
- Some overtime will be required and there is also a potential for a first-line support call-out rota in the future (additional payments and overtime would be made for this)
The successful candidate will:
- Be a skilled and competent facilities maintenance engineer / building maintenance technician / FM technician / building maintenance engineer with experience of working on commercial properties
- Have the relevant electrical qualifications including 18th Edition and City and Guilds 2391 or 2382 (preferred)
- Have some plumbing or mechanical experience or be willing to be trained on this and to carry out these duties
- Ideally hold an IPAF licence and be comfortable with working at height procedures
- Hold a full and valid UK driving licence
