Process Improvement/Process Engineer

This role is all about connecting R&D and Manufacturing. Ensuring the achievement of the best possible process capability and quality, the role will provide specific expertise to the manufacturing processes and the influence of product changes to performance of the manufacturing lines. Working alongside the shift teams, you'll use your manufacturing knowledge to get the best out of the plant and the people.
This role will lead line trials to introduce new products, to achieve better reliability, or to deliver improvements to process for cost savings. Taking a CI approach, you'll use your knowledge of lean tools and techniques to deliver results, you'll be able to analyse data and line outputs to spot opportunities for improvement.
This role is newly created to make an impact on the R&D teams and the manufacturing process. To be successful, you may have come from a food science/processing background, or be a process engineer ready for a new challenge. You'll know your way around how to make improvements and be an agent for change as you'll need to influence behaviours for long term gain.
