Sustainability Manager

A fantastic opportunity exists for an astute, results orientated, and people focused Sustainability Manager, capable of joining a business where change is fast paced and exciting, and the potential for the business is enormous.

Accountable for managing and organising the sustainability agenda for the business, you will lead the formulation of sustainability strategies and policies. Working with the business leadership team you will drive improvements in environmental monitoring and increase adoption of the use of sustainable materials across the business to hit business and government targets.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will lead the agenda for carbon reduction, and be an ambassador for the business externally with key customers and trade organisations.

To be successful in this fast-paced business, you must have had experience in leading sustainability projects within a manufacturing business. You'll understand the nuances of environmental monitoring and management and be familiar with strategies to deliver change within the sustainability field.

This is a newly created role, and will offer the successful candidate the chance to make an impact quickly. Working with key stakeholders, you'll have the chance to build solid relationships and identify and instigate new initiatives that will leave a legacy within the business.
