My client is a leading manufacturer in the non-food consumer goods industry. Due to continued growth and success an exciting role has become available in their Marketing team. This would be an ideal role for a marketing graduate with two years plus experience in a similar role who is looking to further expand their Trade Marketing knowledge.
The role provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to shape and influence the company's trade marketing strategy whilst working within a friendly team and working environment.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Support the Marketing Manager in the implementation of a marketing and communications strategy
Assume responsibility for the implementation of the trade marketing strategy, managing key customers, advertising, POS, press and public relations
Develop and deliver local marketing plans, with a focus on trade shows, retail marketing and product launches
Plan, develop and deliver dynamic and engaging content for use across brand owned media
Plan and deliver trade marketing collateral to support wholesalers and retailers
Advise retail store locations on methods for in-store solutions (POS)
Manage all trade PR, including press releases, generating editorial, reviews and advertorial
Develop and maintain relationships with key trade press contacts and external agencies for digital and print media
Manage all company events and exhibitions
Develop and deliver local marketing plans
Plan and execute internal product launch events
Demonstrate an ROI on all activities undertaken
Monitor and report on competitor activity, market trends and opportunities
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Strong understanding of effective marketing communications and PR
Good understanding of the marketing funnel and how your work influences the customer journey
Experience of managing exhibitions and events
Extremely high standard of written and verbal communications, demonstrating a high attention to detail across all communications
Knowledgeable on marketing best practices
Naturally creative mindset with an eye for developing new and exciting ways of presenting new and existing concepts
Works collaboratively and is a team player
Always aims to exceed customer expectations
Experience of working within a similar role within consumer goods or retail
Experience of running successful marketing campaigns
Experience of planning and coordinating photo/video shoots
